Application Icon DotMac Enabler

DotMac Enabler allows users of restricted workstations behind an authenticated proxy to configure .Mac for use on those machines. Because many workstations are restricted stopping the user configuring .Mac (the preference pane is disabled) or proxy authentication settings (the Network preference pane is disabled), users often can't do this without some sort of help.

DotMac Enabler helps these users by adding the ability to edit these preferences in a simple interface: the user simply enters the .Mac member name and password, as well their proxy username and password and DotMac Enabler sets the preferences necessary for .Mac to be used through an authenticated proxy allowing the user to sync their bookmarks, contacts or connect to their iDisk from a restricted workstation.
